Based in LBMC’s Louisville office, Rory Satkoski, CPA, CVA, is a Shareholder bringing a diverse business background to client advisory. He joined Strothman & Company in January 2007, which merged with LBMC in November 2023.
Rory’s career background includes positions in tax, business, product development, and sales making him an ideal partner for entrepreneurs. Rory works with small-business owners and CFOs to assist with business-reporting needs, minimization of taxes, and various tax and accounting issues. Rory provides high-quality outsourced CFO services, reviews, compilations, and innovative tax-planning solutions. He also has special expertise in the area of business valuation.
Rory was previously a product-development chemist for PPG Porter Paints and a sales-and-service representative for Madison Chemical Company in the Paper Mill division.

A shareholder and leader of LBMC’s Client Advisory and Accounting Services practice, Satkoski currently serves as President of NACVA’s Kentucky State Chapter, where his leadership has significantly strengthened the association’s presence and impact across the region. The NACVA State Chapter President Leadership Award honors members who are dedicated to excellence and demonstrate unwavering support for the association and its mission.

Satkoski holds his MBA from Indiana University Southeast and bachelor’s degree from Hanover College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). In addition to his involvement with NACVA, Satkoski is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KyCPA).
